DO WE NEED LIBRARIES?

This was a roundtable discussion prepared by the American corner in Pemba on Monday June 4, 2012. The program was attended by youth, secondary school students, civil servants and regular library users.

During the discussion that was led by American corner coordinator, the participants discussed and learnt the library concept, the roles and functions of the libraries, what must be in the libraries [ library materials], what would it be if no libraries and the existence of the American corner in Pemba.
