FROM AMERICAN CORNER PEMBA: ‘LIBRARY THROUGH CHILDREN’S EYES


On June 1, 2012 American corner in Pemba held a special library series program titled ‘ LIBRARY THROUGH CHILDREN’S EYES’ by inviting various regular users to discuss various issues concerning the library, its collections and services.


During the program, American corner coordinator briefed the participants what the libraries are, their collections and services.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS SESSION

Participant responding to the question: ‘ What must be in a library’?

Participants suggested the establishment of reading programs or reading clubs, games, English language teaching programs for children.
